Itinerary
As this is a night tour, we will pick you up from your place of accommodation in Marmaris around midday. A professional tour guide will welcome you in a comfortable bus, and explain some key information about the tour’s schedule.
The road trip to Pamukkale takes, almost, three hours. Therefore, you will arrive there in the afternoon, and witness a less crowded setting. Also, keep in mind that in the afternoon, temperatures are lower. Hence, this afternoon exploration is about to be more enjoyable and smoother.
We will visit a stonemason in Pamukkale, where you can learn about this great Turkish art. As soon as we arrive to Denizli we stop for 30 minutes comfort break, where you will have the opportunity to use facilities like toilets and find some refreshments. This is the right time and place to make your self ready for your visit to Pamukkale.
One of the most famous places of interest in Pamukkale is the infamous Cotton Castle. This imposing and extraordinary natural wonder is about to take your breath away immediately. Expect to witness a limestone mountain, that features travertines full of thermal water. Take your time to walk around, and admire the exceptional natural beauty of this landscape. In case you wish to swim into a thermal pool, you can visit the nearby Cleopatra’s Pool, and enter at an extra cost. In Pamukkale, you will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. Back in antiquity, this settlement used to be an important healing and spiritual hub. As you walk through the ruins, expect to see an amphitheatre, a necropolis, Roman baths, temples, and many more.

An unforgettable tour with beautiful images.
Very beautiful place to visit, the evening tour is more recommended than the daytime tour because it is much quieter. Even in high season you can take pictures where you stand alone! Very beautiful with the sunset that can also be seen. Sonny the guide was very talkative and gave fun facts along the way. Dinner was also very fine with starter and main course. The wine tasting was also interesting. The first stop with the stones was less because of the short explanation and the emphasis was more on “and now you can buy something”. The woman's explanation was also not enthusiastic until she got to the point where we could buy things. Despite that I would still highly recommend the whole trip!!! Because it was really worth seeing all of them. Please note, the Pamukkale admission is another 30 euros per person that is not too clearly stated on the site.
