You will love this sunset cruise from Tamarindo! The Marlin Del Rey is a 66-foot sailing catamaran that has no match for size, comfort or service. Capable of reaching speeds of 25 knots under sail, the Marlin Del Rey has the power to travel farther and faster than any other boat in Central America. Glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches, and tropical jungles. Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink, prepared and served by our crew, as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor and frolic in the blue Pacific. Snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted white sand beach while the ever helpful crew prepares a feast of BBQ chicken, yellow Spanish rice, fruit, chips, black bean puree, pico de gallo, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. As the Marlin del Rey Sailing Catamarans set sail, hear the waves slide along the giant catamaran as the sun sets, illuminating the clouds left in the sky. Bring your camera and capture the moments everyone throughout the world talks about when on board the Marlin del Rey Sailing Catamaran. Included: Snorkel Gear, Food, Open Bar

Magical day

Amazing day on the Marlin! We saw so many fish while snorkeling and even an eagle ray! Magical experience for sure.

Excellent!

Rough waters due to recent storm in the area. Carlos and his crew worked hard getting us out there and back! Safety conscious, kind & tolerant of the annoying ones (there is always one or two right😂), served food and many drinks, fixed bathroom problems, were clear in their instructions and worked hard to give everyone a great experience! Water too rough for snorkeling but everyone jumped off the boat for a swim! It was beautiful. We feel this was the best thing we did over our whole trip! It was a GREAT day!

No compassion or basic customer care when illness strikes

We booked the Catalina Islands snorkelling tour for two people, but my friend became seriously unwell overnight with vomiting and fever. Before our 6:40am pick-up, I spoke to Native’s Way by phone through our hotel concierge, explained exactly what had happened and made sure the driver did not come to collect us. We did not ask for a refund. We only asked whether our booking could be moved to another available day, as we were still in Tamarindo and still wanted to do the tour. What is particularly frustrating is that during that phone call, nobody even suggested that I could still go alone rather than lose both places. I was simply told to email management about moving the booking. Only afterwards did they refuse every possible accommodation and tell us we would need to pay again in full. No reschedule, no credit, no discount, no gesture of goodwill whatsoever. Their communication was also inconsistent. They first referred to a 48-hour cancellation policy, then later corrected themselves and said it was actually 72 hours. I understand that policies exist, but this was sudden illness, not a change of mind. We contacted them before pick-up and were still willing to take the tour on another day. The complete lack of compassion, flexibility or even basic practical help was honestly shocking. We never got to experience the tour itself, but based on the way we were treated, I would never book with Native’s Way again. Apparently, if you become ill on holiday, you simply lose your money and are expected to pay again.

Sequels Keep Getting Better

This was our 3rd time and the sequels keep getting better. Over the past few years we have visited CR multiple times and this has been a constant that has never disappointed.

It was a great...

It was a great experience. The snorkeling was good, the boat was fun, and the drinks were fantastic.
