Traveler reviews
A fantastic experience
Wow! What a day. What an experience. The diverse coastline with its caves, painted cliffs, geological formations, white sandy beaches in sheltered bays were extraordinary. The staff were excellent; friendly, relaxed, informative. Lunch was delicious. The history walk and talk was fun and informative. The wombats were so healthy and not at all shy. Highly recommend.
First day in Tasmania
Today begins our journey in Tasmania, and we are taking a ferry to reach this great island; as soon as we arrive, we choose the walking paths and along the way, we start to see the first kangaroos. I studied them to see how they manage to stand since two legs are large while the other two are small; they are truly beautiful. The entire path we took was beautiful; some even do it by bicycle.
Pure nature
An indescribably great day trip to Maria Island. Were picked up in Hobart, driven by boat around the island. Great info from the captain get while sailing. Our tour guide Freya was great. She's been with us the whole time. The drive around the island is characterized by various rock formations. We could see seals. Coffee and a later lunch break we spent in a bay, lunch was totally delicious. On the island itself great impressions, also historically. We were lucky and could see a lot of wombats and wallabies. This tour is highly recommended.
Must do, great experience
I was fortunate enough to be in a group led by Freya and Steve. The day went all smoothly, lunch was delicious as was the hospitality from our guides who were so knowledgeable and passionate - it really makes a difference.
