Itinerary

1

Your day begins at the park entrance, or with optional pickup at selected locations. After you purchase Manuel Antonio National Park entrance tickets (at your own expense), you’ll continue into the nature reserve with a naturalist guide. Exploring this wildlife hotspot with a naturalist makes the most of every minute, as their trained eyes quickly spot animals such as monkeys, sloths, toucans, and more. And, this tour’s small-group format means more personalized attention from the guide. You can also use the group’s spotting scope to observe wildlife and take photos. A flexible itinerary, meanwhile, is tailored to guest preferences, whether you’re all about the jungle or interested in a beach walk. In between stops enjoy provided snacks, as well as the climate-controlled comfort of a tour vehicle for pickup and drop off. While this walking nature tour concludes at the park entrance, you’ll also have the option to stay inside the park. The tour guides have a Jade Tours uniform

9 day trip

Our guide was fantastic. Great at taking pictures with our phones through the scope. Very informative. English was very good. We saw so much wildlife and enjoyed this excursion more than any other we did on the trip

Fer de Lance and Three Toed Sloths were Exciting Finds

Guillermo was an excellent guide. Very informative, friendly, and attentive. He found a Fer de Lance and two sloths plus many other insects, birds, and other animals for us. The pick up point, on the website was confusing. It stated that you could be picked up at your house but that turned out not to be the case. Evidently you can get picked up at certain hotels. I called to get clarification on the meeting point and the lady who answered was very friendly and helpful. She sent a meeting point on What's App for the parking. Just know that, in addition to the tour fee, there is a park entrance fee, $16.00 per person and parking fee, $11.00. You have to go through a gauntlet of aggressive parking attendants trying to get you to park with them. Fortunately the Jade Tour lady told me to tell me I was going to the Jade Tour parking lot which, fortunately, is right by the park entrance. Very convenient. The park is as wonderful as everyone has said. And we had a perfectly beautiful day seeing all the animals that the guide found for us.

Amazing experience in Manuel Antonio

We had an amazing time with our guide, Javier. He was very knowledgeable about all of the animals that we saw along the way and made sure to give us the best views and pictures. At the end he gave us a download of all the pictures and videos that he took. We got very lucky and saw all of the animals that we were hoping to see - two and three toed sloths, all 3 types of monkeys, toucans, and much more. It was a magical experience overall and one we won't soon forget!
