Full description
The Coast Guard Certified Boat Captain will slowly cruise down the river looking for the wild manatees. You can choose to snorkel and swim in the crystal-clear water, or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings on the boat tour. Manatees, also known sea cows, are gentle giants and when snorkeling in the river where they often swim, they sometimes come to greet you or even roll over to be tickled. You cannot approach wild manatees; they are wild on the river but if we spot them manatees often will come near to humans. This is an experience you don't want to miss out on.

Know before you book
- Please confirm your reservation, as well as your pick-up location and time at least 48 hours in advance
- Tour is not available on some holidays, including Christmas day; check availability
- Please note that since these are wild animals, sightings are not guaranteed.
Know before you go
- Tour vehicle does not automatically stop at all pick up locations, so be sure to confirm your pick up time and location.
- Pick ups are between 06:00-06:45am location dependent.
- Make surety eat breakfast before you start the activity as we go direct to the dive shop after collecting all participants. You are also welcome to bring it with you on the tour vehicle, we just ask that all drinks have lids.
- Guide will wear a Gray Line uniform.
- We recommend you wear your swim wear underneath your clothes. This will make changing easier for you at the dive shop.
- All swimmers must rent wetsuits from the dive shop, they are $15 per person.

We enjoyed it but the boat ride took up too much time so in retrospect we would have just visited the Space Centre as we really enjoyed this and were disappointed to have to leave so early.
It was an entertaining experience to Clearwater beach with Adam Rubman. He was way before time, took care of everyone, gave much needed information and trust me you won’t get bored on your Journey. Would definitely recommend tour with him and Gray line tours!
Adam Rubman was a wonderful guide for our bus… had so much fun and safe trip to clear water beach and back.. was on time and very friendly and entertaining. Would definitely recommend a tour with him.
