I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the history and culture of Malacca.
I joined the Malacca Historical Private Tour, and it was a wonderful experience. Malacca is a beautiful city rich in history, culture, and heritage. The tour was well organized, and I enjoyed visiting the famous historical landmarks while learning about their stories. It was a great way to explore one of Malaysia's most charming destinations.
We would not recommend visiting Malacca
We went on the Full day in Malacca Historical Private Tour from Kuala Lumpur. The pick-up and drive was very smooth. Lawrence is a friendly person who knows a lot about Malacca and Malaysia in general. He will happily answer any questions you have. He did not join us in any of the stops, which was fine for us as we don't mind wandering around ourselves. If you prefer however that someone comes with you tells you more about (for example) the history of a building or what happens in the Chinese temple, it is probably better to book another tour. Then Malacca itself - and this has nothing to do with the tour company- was very disappointing to us. This is not a well-preserved and charming heritage site but rather an overcrowded, traffic-heavy village focused on tourism only. We would not recommend visiting Malacca.
