Thunder Down Under - Alaska Style
I thought this was going to be cheesy but it was actually very fun. I had no idea that this is a professional sport with world champions. The lumberjacks really showcased their skills and it was entertaining. They were also easy on the eyes. The screaming ladies in the audience were hilarious. ;-)
Overall Good Show
Overall this was a good show and provided decent entertainment. A little cheesy at parts but still enjoyable. Axes throwing afterwards was fun.
The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show
What a fun afternoon attending this show. We got really into it cheering on our team. The sun was shining which made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend as a fun experience when visiting Ketchikan.
Not worth the money
I went to this show with friends despite having doubts. Sadly, my doubts were on the money. If you have young children, I think they would appreciate the show. If you've never watched an actual lumberjack competition video, then you might be interested in seeing a facsimile of those events in person. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend spending money on this event. Ketchikan is a lovely little port town with so many other great things to see. I wish I had not lost 1.5 hours of my time in port on this show.
Lots of fun
Very good experience. Lively event with lots of fun .
