Traveler reviews
Yes there is a LOT of ice at the bottom of the content
at Los Glaciares National Park (park covers a 2,807 square mile area). They tell us today was a perfect day to visit the glacier as there was no wind, the sky was overcast thus eliminating the glare off the ice on sunny days. Nacho noted some days there is no calving of ice off the face of the glacier, but today there was relatively quite a bit. The closest we approached the face of the calving glacier was about ½ mile. • Los Glaciares is the second-largest national park in Argentina and comprises more than 1,700 square miles and nearly 50 large glaciers. • Glasier National Park in the US humbles in comparison Surrounding the glacier viewing are steel walking platforms with wood railings, that allowed us to reach various angles to view the glacier. The openings in the walkway are large, so walking sticks are not recommended.
A lot of excitement.
The Los Glaciares National Park, with its splendid Perito Moreno glacier, in El Calafate, is one of the most beautiful and emblematic landscapes I have ever visited. It's a lot of emotion.
great sleep experience
very good experience the place is amazing you have to go down and up many metal stairs and a little slippery consider wearing good footwear for these conditions and warm clothes, each of the stops of the walkways are a photo to remember
Memorable glacier Trek
Really unbelievable experience getting to trek on the glacier for an hour, which ended with a scotch and some chocolate on the mountain. Our guides made sure we were safe, and they were informative every step of the way. Literally a cool experience.
Fabulous
Awesome. I have no words to describe the majesty of this place, and its Ace who is the brown expert.
