Traveler reviews
My opinion
My visit to the White Water Community was a very enriching and different experience. This place perfectly combines ancestral history, local culture and nature, making the tour educational and very interesting. During the visit we have a community guide, who explained us about the history of Manteña culture, the customs of the community and the archaeological remains that are preserved in the museum of the site. We also learned about the flora and fauna of the environment. One of the most special moments was the visit to the sulfurous water lagoon, where we could relax and enjoy its natural properties and I could make a mask. They also have a stall where you can buy shampoo, soaps made in an artisanal way. They also have shops in case you fancy an ice cream or eat something.
Culture
The community of Agua Blanca is a place full of ancestral history and culture. Here you can learn how the pre-Columbian cultures lived and how their traditions still live to this day.
