Beautiful Longqingxia Gorge but Lack of professional service by Lily’s Tour Company.
Lily’s Tour Company does not hire knowledgeable tour guides to help visitors to tour destination locations. And some of the freelance drivers whom Lily’s tour company hire for tours are not polite, accommodating, or professional. For example, some will not drop customers off at the location of visit but drop off a mile away such that the customers have to walk a mile to their tour destination. Their reason being the drivers have to pay for entering or parking at the designated arrival area for the tourists. This is a basic service included in the tour fee that they willfully do not provide. The tours that are advertised by Lily’s company depend heavily who the tour company hires for a particular tour on a given day. We felt that we received much less service than what we paid for. I would not recommend this company in the future. On the other hand, the trip to Longqingxia Gorge was worthwhile and the natural beauty of this area is impressive.
Gorge and Caves, superbe!
A great day discovering less known and less touristy part of China. The gorge was nearly unreal, the caves gave us a taste of a distant past, Loris was professional and ready to assist!
Amazing tour with the perfect guide!
Jeffrey and his driver picked us up and took us on amazing tour of Longqingxia. The river cruise through the gorge was unbelievable. Lunch was amazing. Some of the best food we have had in China. Jeffrey picked all the dishes and made a far better choice than we would have. Last stop was the Guyaju Caves. Definitely a must see. It was pouring with rain but Jeffrey still managed to make the trip around the caves very enjoyable. Great day out!
Excellent day-long excursion in the outskirts of Beijing!
We had a fantastic day with Jeffrey. He and his excellent driver met us at our hotel (even though it wasn’t on the list of hotel pick ups) early so we could start our day. Lunch was at a local restaurant, Jeffrey asked our eating preferences, and did a great job picking a variety of yummy dishes. The river boat and the caves were perfect after our long flight to China and we even stopped at the jade factory for a tour and shopping before getting dropped back at our hotel. Lots of walking and stairs at the 2 stops. All in all a great excursion.
