Itinerary
Liverpool is a port city in northwest England, located at the confluence of the Mersey River and the Irish Sea. From the 18th to the early twentieth centuries, it was a vital trade and migration port. It is also famous for being the hometown of The Beatles. Ferries cruise the waterfront, where the Pier Head is dominated by the iconic mercantile buildings known as the "Three Graces" – the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building, and the Port of Liverpool Building.
The Beatles Story exhibition at Albert Dock shows the lives and times of John, Paul, George and Ringo, from the band's early days right through to their solo careers.
Magical Mystery Tour: Tours start at the Albert Dock – meet your guide at the Magical Mystery Tour Ticket Office in Anchor Courtyard just a few metres from the bus stop where you will get on board the colourful Magical Mystery Tour coach for an unforgettable 2 hour tour. See the Beatles childhood homes, schools and colleges and get up close to places that inspired some of their most memorable songs – Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. You’ll be kept entertained along the way by one of our professional Beatles Guides and some Fab Four tunes. The tour finishes at the legendary Cavern Club where you can enjoy live music every afternoon from the Cavern’s resident musicians. Your tour ticket also gives you free general admission to the Cavern Club in the evening of your tour date.
Pass by: "Strawberry Fields Forever" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, written by John Lennon and credited to the duo Lennon–McCartney. It was released in 1967 and is the band's best-known song. It was released as a double A-side single with "Penny Lane" on the 13th of February, 1967, in the United Kingdom. The song was inspired by Lennon's childhood memories of playing in the garden of Strawberry Field, a Salvation Army children's home in Liverpool located near John Lennon's childhood home in Woolton. John Lennon used to play in the wooded garden behind his home with his friends Pete Shotton, Nigel Walley, and Ivan Vaughan.
Pass by: Penny Lane is a street in Liverpol made famous by The Beatles' 1967 single of the same name. John Lennon and Paul McCartney frequently met at Penny Lane to catch the town bus and their shared street experiences inspired them to write the song.
Make your way to 10 Matthew Street and visit this famous nightclub, which stands as the birth place of the Beatles. The Cavern Pub (opposite the Cavern Club) opens at 11am and contains memorabilia relating to the Beatles.

What A Day!
It was not worth the money I paid for two people being that there was no group to meet you at the Euston station and no one to meet you when you arrive at the Liverpool station either, In fact a worker said to me that they hadn’t seen a Beatles group meet here in years and that i would be lucky if someone even met me at the Liverpool station. After arriving at the Liverpool station I took a uber to the Beatles experience since it was a 20 min walk from the station and it was cold outside! Again no group was there to meet! Afterwards when trying to go on the magical mystery tour bus the lady that was working there said I missed the 2:00 bus tour so I had to wait till 3:30. Again I had no idea I had to be there at 2! The highlight of the whole thing was the tour bus! That was amazing! After that we went to the cavern but because we missed the earlier bus tour we couldent enjoy the cavern at all because we would have missed our train back to London which originally I had to call for because they didn’t send me the train tickets at all at first! 🤯🤯🤯
Great Day Out
Had a great time, it was interesting, informative and the Dale made it fun, put on appropriate music to allow us to peter ourselves further.

Good day sunshine😊
The train vouchers issue was very confusing so I called Viator and they sent tickets for all the activities. The tour itself was fabulous. Tony the guide was so terrific and had been in a Beatle cover band around the world. Lots of stories. Dennis the driver was a magician driving the bus in very sticky situations and was also a Musician. Great fun was had by all🤗
Beatlemania
The tour itself in Liverpool was very good and informative. There was an odd issue about not Getting responses each time I wrote the tour company. I would have liked an opportunity for the FC train ticket, that I had asked about early one. Not a lot of your direction. Also had reached out about return train time and never heard a response. Magical bus tour was fantastic, could have been 3 hrs to include the gravesite. More walking locations mapped out for Beatles Fans to enjoy would Have been nice. And the special token should be handed out on bus tour, not just going through Cavern at the end. Dale and Steve are the best tour guides! We were so lucky to have them.
