Itinerary
Our Tour starts precisely in one of the main City Squares, the square where the iconic Avenida da Liberdade ends. The Square that is a tribute to Portugal's independence.
Being one of the least adorned, it is perhaps one of the richest churches, a tribute to peace, tolerance and unity.
A tribute of the city of Lisbon to the victims of intolerance and religious fanaticism resulting from the Jewish massacre of 1506.
Rossio Square is one of the oldest and most beautiful squares in Lisbon. For more than six centuries it has been the scene of several important events in the city's history.
Pass by: It opened in 1846 and has overlooked some of the city's greatest historical events.
An imposing station whose construction date is sure to surprise you.
The entrance to Lisbon's most cosmopolitan neighborhood.
The public transport that is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful "monuments" of the city. We will be able to access the free area of the Elevator.
The stage for passionate revolutions.
Built in the XVI Century, this was the earliest Jesuit church in Portugal. The building served as the society's home church in Portugal for over 200 years, before the Jesuits were expelled from the country. Inside is one of the world's most valuable chapels.
Lisbon's nightlife district, with over 500 years of History. La bohéme, the Lisbon way.
This small square is the transition zone between Chiado and Bairro Alto.
Where coffee was launched and where Fernando Pessoa and other intelectuals and artists created the modernist magazine Orpheu.
São Carlos National Theatre is still today the only Portuguese theatre geared towards producing and presenting opera and choral and symphonic music.
Pass by: The triumphal arch that illustrates any Lisbon travel book.
The most agitated and charming street in downtown Lisbon.
One of the most beautiful squares in Europe, where the city ends and the Tagus begins.

Best walking tour of Lisbon!
We had an absolutely fantastic walking tour of Lisbon with Miriam and couldn't recommend her more highly. Her knowledge of Lisbon's history, culture, and hidden gems was exceptional, and she took us to so many places we never would have discovered on our own. She brought the city to life with fascinating stories and local insights, making every stop interesting and memorable. The tour was at a wonderfully relaxed pace, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the incredible viewpoints and soak up the atmosphere. Miriam also gave us lots of excellent recommendations for places to revisit, things to try, and local food and experiences to enjoy during the rest of our stay. Her English was outstanding—clear, easy to understand, and engaging throughout the tour. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about Lisbon. If you're visiting Lisbon, do yourself a favour and book a tour with Miriam. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Excellent historical experience.
Belen was an excellent ambassador for the city of Lisbon and we appreciated her depth of knowledge on the history of churches, the neighbourhoods and the Carnation Revolution. She was an excellent storyteller which brought the history to life.
