Great morning at the show
Great fun and informative, recommend. The guide Neil was good and Samantha in the bar upstairs was really helpful with information on volcanoes and earth quacks. Recommend great for families. We upgraded which was nice!
Such an interactive...
Such an interactive educational show. You can feel the heat definitely for sure. Love the history, how they recycle old and obtained new lava, and how it was created the long hard work for behind the scene. They have a beverage bar, items to purchase and plenty of parking. I did this since it was near the omnom - famous chocolate (show: down to earth by zac efron). If you bought stuff like chocolates or anything similar - Just tell the bartender to hold ur stuff since it will be melting
Is this the “hottest show” in Reykjavik?
The lava show was a highlight of our week 8n Iceland. The show is very informative and the presenter kept us informed and entertained throughout. The use of real lava is the highlight. As soon as it flows into the theatre you immediately feel the heat. It’s is a unique experience to be so close to real lava and see how the lava reacts to ice, etc. I highly recommend a visit to the lava show. Great value for money and nobody could leave disappointed
Great informative show
My husband and I really enjoyed the lava show, moderated by Jessica Poteet, a geologist and geoscientist. I would highly recommend this for families with younger kids for the "cool" factor.
Delightful lava show
This was a great show for the first day in Iceland. We got the premiere tickets so we got 2 free drinks, lava piece, and lounge access. The lounge was very cozy and the bartender was pleasant. The rock displays were interesting. There wasn't a bad seat for viewing. I was in the balcony. There's a great top view. If you want to get closer though, the best seats would be ground floor front row side There's a great gift shop also. Very easy place to find. I learned much about lava and Iceland history here
