Great Show!
We purchased premium tickets online that included a balcony seat, a beverage, and a piece of lava to take home as a souvenir. The show lasted about an hour and was informative and really interesting to watch. We were glad to have booked a balcony seat because the heat from the molten lava was quite warm! After the show you can browse through their gift shop, which offers a good selection of quality souvenirs.
Lava show experience
The lava show was an amazing experience. Very informative and the guide did a pretty good job explaining all the details of lava formation and lava trivia. I highly recommended visiting it if you are in Reykjavik and specially to solo travellers.

Lava show was a great way to burn an hour before going to sky lagoon. Very informative and excellent way to learn about Icelands relationship with volcanoes before going out on Golden circle
Definitely Worth It - Especially if traveling with children!
Wonderfully unique experience while in Iceland! We are traveling the Ring Road with our two children and including the Lava Show in our first day in Reykjavik was a perfect way to set the stage for the make-up and history of this amazing country. It was a highlight for all of us - thank you!
