Comedy Show

The ticket said 7:00 start so we were on time but the first people there. The show started at 8:30! It was too long to spend waiting. Would have preferred to arrive just before the show actually started instead of waiting.

Great comedy but don't get fooled by the drinks offer

We had a wonderful evening of comedy. The host Gar was superb, and the best of the 4 comedians was Willie Thompson. We were in Dublin for a family celebration weekend. But be aware about the 'arrival drinks promise'. We were conned. We bought our tickets 2 months ago with the premise that you get a free beer if you arrive before 7:30pm. We understood this was clearly to get us in early with anticipation that we would buy more drinks throughout the evening. Yes, we understood that. No problem. But on arrival, we were told it was a special promotion drinks evening for alcohol-free beer, and our free drink had to be alcohol-free. We said no thank you we wanted normal beer; this is Ireland, after all. We were told this wasn't possible and the host said the website was clear about the promotion evening. Well it may have been clear on the day, but not two months ago when we booked - it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website back then, and there had been no communication to us since booking to the change to the original transaction. The hostess was quite obstructive and didn't entertain our view. This left us feeling conned and disappointed by their attitude. The comedy was great.

Laughter lounge making a fun night out very difficult for patrons

Went into the laughter lounge and was told that I had to put my coat into the cloakroom, I had to spend 2euro , I was told that I couldn’t bring it into the room. Also , i had to scan a code to buy a drink, I asked a girl if I could buy a drink with cash, she said NO, we don’t take cash. When u scan the QR code u have to put in loads of details and banking details, so when ur trying to enjoy the comedy u need to do all this to get a drink!! Loads of staff walking around looking to collect empty glasses in the middle of the gig! Blocking views. I would not go back to this venue, it certainly is not making it easy for the consumer. Loads of people annoyed with the no cash policy

You can definitely skip

First off, the emcee does not get on stage til 8:30. Do not bother arriving early. Emcee and comedians were good just did not appreciate the hour and half wait for the show to actually start.
