Traveler reviews
Wyndham Lynn Times Onsen Wellness was in darkness for almost two hours. poor services ...
The reception service was very poor. The reception staff did not introduce the services that guests could use during their stay. The lobby design was flawed; due to inattention, I kicked the stone shelf – of course, I never thought there would be a black stone shelf in the hotel lobby to pay attention to – I simply assumed that the lobby should only have sofas. However, what annoyed me wasn't the misplaced stone shelf in the living room, but the staff's attitude – they didn't even ask if I was okay. They acted as if my kicking the shelf was my own fault and I had to bear the consequences myself. You can think of it like eating a chicken hamburger and finding a bone in it. The owner argues that the bone also belongs to the chicken and isn't an outside bone, and thus they are innocent. The area experienced a power outage, and we were in darkness for almost two hours. Is a 5-star hotel really 5-star if it's shrouded in darkness? The emergency exit lights were off. When the power went out, I walked down the emergency exit from the 5th floor to the 1st floor without any light; I had to use my phone's flashlight. Why are there no lights in the emergency exits when the law mandates that they must be on the entire building in case of fire, explosion, or power outage? And finally, you'll need to wait 10 minutes for them to check both rooms when you check out. When I complained about the issue, they said it was less than 10 minutes. So i have no choice but to wait
Halong Bay one night cruise
One night luxury dinner cruise was well worth it to do around beautiful Ha Long Bay. Everything was great including the service. I would have given it 5 star but there was a mishap with our missing paperwork with the staff.
Superb cruise
A superb cruise with beautiful landscapes! The staff is very nice! Jenny took care of us, she was very smiling and kind! Thanks to her and the whole team!
I'm not going back.
Promising cruise that disappointed us a little. At the staff level nothing to say about the small care except this insistence at all costs to get our written evaluation at the end of the stay. On the boat 1st meal on arrival of very average quality especially in the local context. Nice evening meal on deck and good quality catch up. Breakfast correct nothing to say. Regarding the cabin be careful not to get carried away with photos and the term 'luxury'. The photos shown show 1 copy of 'panoramic' cabin available in 2 copies, so the majority of cabins are very distant and of course more cramped. More particularly, cabin 116, first level, at the bottom of the aisle, is soundproofed with engine noise and anchor during anchorage, a cabin to avoid. Wifi that does not cover the entire boat and as 4/5G is not everywhere available.. Nevertheless the boat which is not really new is nevertheless maintained. To meditate before subscribing to an Amanda cruise, good luck then.
Amazing experience!
My first time travelling to Vietnam and Ha Long Bay and we couldn’t have had a better crew to take care of us on our stay on the boat! Ruby was phenomenal, offering exceptional service always with a smile and so friendly too! Andrew the tour manager was bubbly and fun and commanded the room when we addressed everyone! Very very fun!
