Lake Garda Tour
I highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Martina, provided a wonderful experience which included the drive from central Verona to Sirmione (please tour the Roman ruins while you are in Sirmione), a walking tour within Sirmione, then a short boat tour (45 minutes) across Lake Garda from Sirmione to Lazise. Once in Lazise, Martina let us walk and shop on our own. The area is absolutely beautiful and worth your time and money if you are staying in Verona. Also, I recommend requesting a tour with Martina as your guide.
Just visit sirmione to see the lake, the rest of the tour is contrived
The guide was a complete professional and a good person. We had an issue with an accidental double booking the we were reduced a credit for which is very poor customer service. Additionally, I would recommended just getting a ride from verona to sirmione and waking around. The boat ride across the lake was pretty miserable the boat is severely underpowered and the town on the other side isn’t worth visiting…..Nothing special about it. Save the time and the boat ride. Have espresso in sirmione, walk around the town, go to the beach and take in the beautiful views….have lunch and go to your next stop. The boat ride and the other town seem contrived to create more is a “tour”.
Really nice
It was really nice but personally I think it is a little overpriced for a tour around Lake Garda. The boat tour was my favourite bit, however the optional walking tour was a bit boring, so would suggest exploring the town yourself. The tour guide was nice, Beatrice, who spoke very clearly and was patient throughout. The timing was right and they were very punctual.
Amazing Day Trip
What an amazing trip from beginning to end. Martina was fantastic — so knowledgeable and engaging and she made every part of the day interesting. The itinerary was spot‑on and the boat crew and captain brought so much fun to the journey from Sirmione to Lazise. If you’re visiting Verona, this trip is an absolute must. I’d highly recommend it.
Lake Garda
The tour guide was wonderful. She stayed 15 minutes after everyone left the tour to help us get a taxi. Everything was well organized. The two towns were beautiful and the mountain views were spectacular.
