Itinerary
During the morning, a modern and comfortable bus will pick you up from your place of accommodation in Kusadasi. The road trip will have an approximate duration of 30 minutes.
The first stop of this excursion will take place at the ancient city of Ephesus. This impressive location and the monuments of the city are characterized as UNESCO site of cultural heritage. Walking around Ephesus will take your breath away as the city is entirely made by marble. During your time there, you will have the opportunity to visit the ancient theatre and observe the infamous temple of Hadrian. Ephesus was known to have a library and the impressive statue of Nike, among other interesting structures.
The excursion includes also a lunch break that will take place at a local restaurant. There, participants will have the opportunity to taste local freshly made recipes. The lunch break will also be a great opportunity to relax and enjoy your time between sightseeing.
Another stop will be made at the House of Virgin Mary. What makes this monument important is that Virgin Mary spent her last days there with Saint John. Nowadays, the house attracts thousands of visitors who wish to experience the holy atmosphere and the serenity of the landscape.

Ephesus tour with cats
A splendid trip to an amaizing ancien city. The tour company was very good and Eric was extremely efficient. The guide and driver were professionals and very helpful. As a hint for cats lovers, take with you some cat food, the archaeological site is full of nice and playful cats.

The only way to see Ephesus and Mereyama
A wonder-filled trip. From pick-up at our hotel in a cool air conditioned coach we knew this was going to be good. Our guide and driver were great. We (a couple) were lucky to be in a small group of 7. It started with a trip to the Temple of Artemis where our guide was able to point out a pagan temple, a Christian church (basilica St John) and a mosque - all in the same vicinity. Then on to Ephesus. WOW! Like Pompeii, this is a place you could spend a full day to see everything. Our guide took us through pointing out specific important parts bringing history to life. Lunch was really nice with only drinks to be paid for. Finally we went to Mereyama (House of the Virgin Mary). As a Catholic it was a special part of the trip for me. There is also mass at the site early on a Sunday morning). Pilgrims are able to light votive candles for special intentions. There was a visit to a pottery and a leather factory. No hard sell and it was interesting. All in all a brilliant trip. ❤️
