ATV a waste of time
If you want to do the rafting, absolutely worth it. I’d say pay for the 9km but don’t do the zip or atv. Waste of money The staff at the atcmv are very unfriendly don’t give you any training or safety briefing but will then beep you and shout if you drift or go ‘too’ fast. I don’t think I saw above 20km the entires 1hr. Such a let down when you have had a great experience else where. Our driver taking us from our accommodation and back again, was too fast and borderline dangers over taking when other cars were coming. Not sure I want to ever have him again. Rafting guys were amazing and fun. Would do the rafting again. But that is it!
Very unsafe, flat commercial
DO NOT Unsafe and flat commercial Unsafe short zipline!: my husband almost fell from a shaky chair 8 m above the ground, there was not even a gate for security... AVT small slow ride, no instructions Rafting: Having to wait a long time, unfriendly, a mass of boats leaving right away, like you're in an amusement park, not safe Much time wasted in advertising a longer rafting for 1000 bath extra per person For a photo or video we also signed a lot, with all our previous trips we got that for free
Ok activities, but CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
The transfer took almost 2 hours to the first stop, where we had to buy and feed the monkeys. Very nice to get so close. And the monkeys were in the wild. So nothing bad for them. After about 30 minutes we went on for a quad bike ride. This was worse. On the other hand, we had a guide who was not so nice, he was quiet and drove slowly in front of us to “keep track / make sure we could not gas much”. Here I was very upset, on the same roads (and by the same organizers) walked elephants that people rode on, amid a stressed environment of lots of loud engine noises. When we had finished leaving, the elephants stood bound millimetres from the trees and looked noticeably stressed. Cruelty to animals. We then moved on to the rafting. Which was 5 minutes away. There was very little information about the activities and poor communication. Firstly, they asked after 5 km had passed if we wanted to continue, there were from 7 up to 9 km routes. What they didn't tell us then is that it would cost up to 1200 baht extra per person. (Luckily we had seen a sign) Here along the river too, elephants were tied up and impaled with sticks. After lunch, was very small amount for us 4.1 chicken club each, rice, soup, some fruit and vegetables, white bread and jam / juice and water was available. We then thought the activities were over and went to our transfer. But when we left for a while the driver was called that we had missed the last stop (waterfall) We were tired and chose to abstain. But incredibly little information. Since our driver did not speak much English, communication was difficult there too. We didn't know the rafting was so far away. However, he was very nice and had nothing to do with the setup of the activity. All in all, an okay activity, bad setup and if I had known that the same organizers were doing animal cruelty, I would never have booked.
Very good
Perfect . Don't think twice . It was fun . Don't make the ATV if you are not young and know how to drive since it's a bit dangerous ...
Very long drive, don't trust their timing since I almost lost a flight and very bad communication
Very long drive there from Krabi, we spent almost 4 hours in the car. I asked when we would arrive back to the hotel, because I had a flight to take. We arrived one hour later than they said, good thing I had some margin. Very bad communication with them through email or whatsapp.
