Our boats carry 12 passengers each. This allows for small intimate tailored tours. For group booking larger than 12 people, they will be seperated into two boats. Be sure to bring your camera as there are some fantastic views of the Castle and other sights of kilkenny. See the city as both invaders and settlers did, from the river. Our guides cater each trip individually depending on your knowledge of kilkenny history and that of the river Nore, including it's wildlife. This trip will leave you feeling relaxed and having a little more knowledge of the city's colourful characters and past.

Great river tour

Its a really lovely way to get some insight into the history of kilkenny. Lovely lady who provided the tour was so informative. I recommend you take the trip.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Kilkenny. It’s well worth doing this trip, very laid back and friendly with some good humour though out. I would definitely recommend it.

Pleasant boat trip in Kilkenny

Lovely trip, the weather co-operated and the river was calm. We had a wonderful guide Cliff, who was amusing and a wealth of knowledge. I bought two local history books based on his recommendations!! Overall an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend!

Leisurely Boating Trip

Small group boat tour. Leisurely pace on a small stretch of the River Nore. It was a nice, easy introduction to Killarney. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommended way of spending a little time.
