Itinerary
This fun and informative private tour of the Orsay Museum has been designed specifically for families with children. You will be welcomed by a highly-qualified kid-friendly guide at the entrance of the museum, and from there you will begin a memorable and enjoyable experience. During the tour, you will be able to admire paintings and sculptures by some of the world's most famous artists, including Monet, Van Gogh, Gauguin and Renoir. The tour can last 2 or 3 hours. Each alternative includes some of the main highlights of the museum, but obviously the longer the tour, the more you will be able to see. Moreover, your guide will also reveal to you some intriguing secrets and anecdotes behind the Musée d’Orsay's unique architecture. To round off this fun, entertaining yet educational experience, you will be taken to upper clock to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. By the end of the tour, you and your kids will have fallen in love with impressionism, and probably the guide as well!

This Museum was so much better than the Louvre, our guide gave us a history of art during this period, getting the kids to guess the art styles and learn about the artists.

Dominique was very knowledgeable. We were a family of four including our 13-year-old son and 10 year-old daughter, and she did a great job of touching on the things they learned the day before at the Louvre and then expanding on them. When my husband remarked that he’d love to see Gauguin, she immediately pivoted to include that exhibit thereby modifying the rest of the tour. We all walked away having learned new things about the Museum itself, the Impressionist style, and many works of art.
Excellent Family Tour
Agathe was a super guide for our family. She was not only very knowledgeable, but she also had a fun and energetic personality. She focused a lot of her attention on our 10 yr old, but explained everything in a way that was interesting for the adults as well. I highly recommend Agathe.
