- Audio guides and scripts are available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese via the K'gari Explorer Tours App.
- Your accommodation will require a credit card pre-authorisation of AU$100 per day plus AU$200 refundable bond to a maximum of AU$500. In the event that no credit card is available, full payment and a bond deposit of AU$100 per day to a maximum of AU$500 is required.
- Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.
- Please note we do not carry children under the age of 1 and no refund will be given.
- Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
- This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
- The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

10/10 tour!
Great tour and we got to see loads of different things and parts of the island. Traveling there in August is great as there are fewer people and the weather is great, and the whales travel the seas at this time also. The guide, Taylah, was great and welcoming, and made sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed - 10/10!
Amazing!
I loved everything about this tour! I was pretty nervous beforehand, but from the very beginning, everything was so easy and incredibly well organized. As soon as we arrived on the island, we were picked up by our amazing tour guide, Andrew. I immediately felt safe with him, especially because of his excellent driving skills. He was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with us. His positive and uplifting spirit really made the experience even more enjoyable. The group size was perfect, not too big and not too small. All the stops and sightseeing spots were incredibly well chosen and perfectly timed. We always had enough time to enjoy each place without ever feeling rushed or spending too long in one spot. We were also very well looked after when it came to food. We had plenty to eat throughout the trip, including lunch and dinner, and the food at the resort was also really good and much appreciated after such an active day. Everyone was so friendly, the room was lovely, and the whole experience was simply wonderful. All in all, I am incredibly happy and grateful for such an amazing two day tour. I would absolutely recommend it!
Such a great time!
We had the best time exploring the Island, our guide Dean was professional, informative and most importantly funny! I highly recommended the two day tour as you get to explore the most of what Kgari has to offer. We timed it right for a quick flight of the island… another highly recommended thing to do!
An easy 5-star experience
The 2-day tour of K’gari was absolutely incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our trip! The tour was so varied, well-organised, and thoughtfully planned. Every day was filled with unique experiences and unforgettable moments that will stay with us forever. A special shoutout to our guide Dean, he was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly helpful, funny, and had such an impressive knowledge of the island. Thanks to his stories, explanations, and passion for K’gari, we didn’t just see the island, we truly experienced and understood it. We came away with so many wonderful memories and a much deeper appreciation of the island’s history and beauty. All in all, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting K’gari. An easy 5-star experience
