Great captain and first...
Great captain and first mate! Nice sailboat and a fun trip home with cold beverages! Snorkeling was super fun too!
Great captain and crew on beautiful boat but ugly reef.
The captain and crew were excellent- they were very accommodating and friendly. The reason I rated the trip a 4 instead of a 5 is because the coral reef they took us to was dead and we saw very few fish.
An intimate Sailing Experience on the Floridays.
We sailed on the Floridays, a sleek sailboat with a canopy for shade, which turned out was much needed and much appreciated. Captain Doug and First Mate Courtney welcomed us on the dock and settled required paperwork. We were then fitted with snorkeling gear. Once on board we covered safety protocols and best practices for snorkeling. Captain Doug was friendly and accessible, especially when it came to wind and seas, water visibility and what to expect during our afternoon sail, The trip out takes an hour to reach the Eastern Dry Rocks Reef, which I have never visited so I was excited to see something new. The sail out was pleasant as the seas were relatively calm. After mooring the boat, First Mate Courtney was super helpful with getting everyone in the water and headed to the reef. Eastern Dry Rocks Reef is a great spot to see a myriad of tropical fish 🐠 from yellowtails, blue gregories, angelfish and sargent majors to a host of parrotfish all doing their thing in and around the sea fans and corals. The reef is an easy swim from the sailboat with the gentle currents. We spent nearly an hour in the water exploring the reef. It was amazing and beautiful. The trip back was a relaxing sail with a refreshing glass or two of white wine. The Floridays offers a more intimate experience and being it’s less crowded, it’s a great way to spend an afternoon of sailing and snorkeling. My wife and I truly enjoyed our trip for all its qualities. We will come back again soon. Thank you Captain Doug and First Mate Courtney for making our trip a wonderful experience with great memories. Best Wishes, Kev & Stephanie Devine Homestead, Florida 🙏
Amazing Snorkel and sailboat trip!!!
We had an amazing time! My adult children got to snorkel and see a shark and other wildlife! We also saw dolphins playing and jumping on our way back! An awesome experience for us all!
Well organized!! LONGER (actual) SNORKELING time!!
The captain and first mate were friendly, courteous, informative. Prior to sailing, thorough safety education /instructions were provided. The captain selected an optimal area with consideration to weather/wind conditions. He was knowledgeable of region for optimizing viewing of the varied marine-life. The boat and snorkeling gear were clean, well maintained. We selected “Fish Monster,” due to advertised as having longer actual snorkeling time than the majority of other snorkeling trips we were considering. This is a well organized excursion. The captain, first mate and details previously mentioned provided our group an overall great experience. Highly recommend!!
