Itinerary
Enjoy a guided tour through Ernest Hemingway's home where he wrote literary works such as "For Whom the Bell Tolls," wander the lush gardens, pet his six-toed cats, and see the writers desk where it all happened.
Enjoy a full cuban meal of roast pork, rice, beans, and plantains accompanied by a glass of homemade sangria.
Stop into the iconic and nearly 100-year-old hotel in the heart of Key West - this culinary experience celebrates local flavor with a twist. Sip on Mojitos and savor local shrimp cocktails in a Havana inspired modern restaurant. There might even be a surprise visit from the Chef!
Meet the close cuban family of this 3rd generation owned and operated Cigar Factory. Learn how they moved their business and rebuilt their lives in Key West. See the cigar rolling process in person, peek your head into their humidor and leave with a surprise.
Pass by: Pop into the original and the new Sloppy Joe's to see where Hemingway rubbed shoulders with his local "mob" at their favorite watering hole, now turned into a MUST SEE for every Key West visitor.
No Key West Food Tour would be complete without a slice of the pie that put us on the map!
Finish the tour inside the Hemingway Rum Co's newest renovation, The Social Club, for his signature drink that he fell in love with during his many stints in Cuba taking back to introduce stateside. Become familiar with the drink and space over a distillery guide's entertaining presentation.

Throughly enjoyed this...
Throughly enjoyed this experience. The tour of Hemingway’s home was just right. The food selections were perfect.
Hemingway Experience completely delivers!
We met up with Kyle and the rest of the group right in front of the Hemingway House. Once we were all accounted for, Kyle explained exactly what we could expect throughout the afternoon. First, we took the tour of the house and that guide was very good as well. After, Kyle gathered us together and we went to the first place for some local food and drink - a great Cuban restaurant, where we had a slow roasted pork dish with black beans and yellow rice. Extremely good and I ate too much, considering there were other food and drink experiences to come. Second place started off with a mojito (with rum!) making demonstration and additional food. Third stop was a cigar factory (Rodriguez) where we saw a few cigars being rolled, and we received some complimentary cigars, which my husband really enjoyed on the rest of our trip. Lastly, we had some really sweet key lime pie slices. Aside from the fantastic food and drinks, and the excellent historical narration given by Kyle, it really helped us to get out bearings in downtown Key West. We had a great afternoon and learned alot!
Best tour in key west
Kyle was our tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Great food and drinks. Wonderful tour, and learned a lot.
Hemingway Experience
This is a great way to see several things in a short period of time. My only recommendation would be to allow extra time to go back to the Hemmingway house and thoroughly enjoy reading all the history. Kyle did a great job showing us all the hotspots!
