During the ride from Orlando, your Gray Line Orlando guide will share fascinating information about Kennedy Space Center, along with helpful tips and recommendations to help you make the most of your day. Upon arrival, your guide will provide your admission ticket and advise you of the meeting arrangements for the return journey. Once inside, the day is yours to explore at your own pace and experience the attractions in the order you choose.
One of the day’s highlights is the Kennedy Space Center Bus, which takes you beyond the main visitor complex and into areas of NASA’s working spaceflight facility that are not accessible on foot. Along the way, you’ll stop at the LC-39 Observation Gantry for impressive views of the historic launch pads and surrounding spaceport. The journey then continues to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you can walk beneath the enormous Saturn V rocket and relive the excitement of the Apollo Moon missions.
At Space Shuttle Atlantis®, come nose-to-nose with the legendary spacecraft, displayed with its payload bay doors open as though it were orbiting Earth. Gary, our tour guide for the day was a fantastic guide who went above and beyond throughout the day. Could not have asked for a better guide as nothing was too much trouble and he answered any queries anyone had at any time of the day.while we did the manatee swims Gary went and sorted out food for everyone to have after the swim and took us to a small beach to enjoy it. If I have to say anything bad, it would be the office who organised the pick ups as we had to pay extra for a taxi to take us to another location for a 5.45am pick up when we were supposed to have been collected from our hotel. If it wasn’t for this it would have been a 5* review
Great tour. Started the day swimming with manatees, followed by lunch in the park, an animal rescue sanctuary and an airboat ride. Really fun day out.
