Itinerary
Meet your guide in central Rome to begin a 4-hour evening excursion through the Campo Marzio and Jewish Ghetto neighborhoods in Rome, some of the oldest districts in the city.
Hip and happening, this section of Rome is loaded with famous sites and family owned trattorias.
Your guide will narrate the journey as you encounter various historic sites and step into several different local restaurants to sample palate-tempting fare made with generations of love and proud heritage.
This food and wine tour not only gives you a taste of Rome's traditional cuisine, it also provides an introduction to Rome's rich cultural history.
Starting in the Jewish Ghetto, you’ll see the Piazza Navona, Campo De’ Fiori, and the Pompey Theatre, site of the assassination of Julius Caesar.
Other stops on your tour include the Church of St. Eustace, the Senate House of Italy, the Theatre of Marcellus, Temple of Apollo, Portico of Octavia, and the Jewish Synagogue in Rome (you will not visit the Synagogue inside, only outside).

Fabulous food and history
The guide was very nice and thorough. Great combo of food and area information. We liked the group size of 10 people.
This tour was simply...
This tour was simply amazing! The food, the history and the culture combined for an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!
The guide was excellent. ...
The guide was excellent. However this is more of a street food tour vs a food tour. It would be helpful for the description to be updated. As a street food tour - it would have been a great experience. Just not what I expected.
Informative and fun visit through history and food culture
A must do while in Rome to understand the more recent history of its people in the Jewish Ghetto. Farbrizia did an excellent relating and bringing to life some of the tragic historical details. On the lighter side we enjoyed the food tour and tasted so many things we would not have encountered on our own. Thank you.
Fran was a great guide....
Fran was a great guide. Knowledgeable, patient, and very friendly. Enjoyed this tour a great deal even though it was 39 degrees out. Food was great. I would definitely recommend this tour!
