The guides were great! I would have given 5 stars if I had received the rum tasting portion. Somehow the "free" excursión was not received.
Great time…
Zip lining with Richard and Junior was awesome. Junior actually had to climb out onto a line and pull one of our friends back to safety because she fell and slid back down the line. And it was amazing watching him hold onto her and go handover hand to bring her back. Also, our tubing adventure was with president and Palmer, and they were just hilarious. And kept us entertained the entire time we were on the water.
It was cool
The experience was nice until our Captain Romario wanted a tip from us. He said him and his friend would like an appreciation. We informed him our money was back at the locker but honestly our ride wasn’t worth giving him a tip. He got back on the bus and followed us back to where we started hunting me down for a tip. It was annoying and gave that he was stalking us. He also said no to give the tip to the boss because he was the boss there. Very greedy and unprofessional he should not be on those rafts!
Chukka at Good Hope
Tubing experience with tour guide Palmer who was personal, humorous and provided a great afternoon on the water, yes cool water. Yea Mon. Rafting experience with Chevy who offered his engaging jokes and friendly manner on the river. Appleton rum tasting was in a comfortable air conditioned room. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative.
Great Jamaican experience
I recently spent time at Chukka Adventures at Good Hope. To say that it was amazing would be an understatement. From the very beginning, my family, friends and I were greeted by a warm and courteous staff member, who very quickly and efficiently checked us in and showed us to our beautifully reserved Cabana. Our party was a group of 17 and the staff made not only feel welcomed, but special. Our water tubing guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of energy—he brought not only Jamaica’s rich culture and history to life, but also specifically the history of Good Hope. The tubing down the Martha Brae was breathtaking and relaxing. We also had the opportunity to choose from rafting, zip lining, buggy 2 seater rides as well as the rum tasting. There was just the mixture of adventure and something for everyone. The small children in our party enjoyed the pool and the older kids and those young at heart, also had a great time going down the slide, surrounded by the lush Jamaican greenery. The team also provided delicious Jamaican cuisine. Every moment felt authentic and vibrant. I can’t recommend this tour enough—it’s the perfect way to experience the real heart of Jamaica! Special shout out to Sameer, the Location Manager and his entire team, also our master tubing guide Thatchy, our courteous butler Shaquille. The entire team was really fantastic. Well done Chukka Adventures at Good Hope!
