The story of the Whitechapel murders is one of the great unsolved mysteries in the world. It is also one of the most fascinating and blood thirsty tales you will ever hear. It happened here in London in the year 1888. In the early hours of 31st August 1888 a man is walking to work down a dark lane in Whitechapel, he sees a shapeless bundle lying on the ground near some gates, curious he goes over to investigate. His gruesome discovery of a murdered East End prostitute then started one of the most famous man hunts in the world. Ripperologists and amateur sleuths to this day are still trying to work out the identity of a man they called Jack the Ripper. Can you solve the riddle on this spooky Whitechapel Walk? Come along the trail of Jack the Ripper… if you dare! This tour will finish at approximately 90 mins after the start time near Liverpool Street Station.

Very informative with a good amount of walking. Jim (the Ripper) was great and very knowledgeable! Super impressed that he even had Jack’s letters memorized! Highly recommend.

Book the tour!

The tour guide “Jim the Ripper” was amazing. Very informative and passionate about what he does. The highlight of the tour was when he recited the 3 letters (“Dear Boss”, “Saucy Jack”, and “From Hell”) by heart and in character. He took us to lots important locations in Whitechapel and knew so many obscure details about the case. We had a great time and learned a lot on this tour. We highly recommend!

“Jim The Ripper” is an excellent guide!

We went on a Jack The Ripper tour led by local guide “Jim The Ripper.” Our guide was terrific! He put a lot of effort into his telling of the case history, the background of East London in the late 1880s, and the victims’ lives. The highlight of the tour was when we read the 3 most famous letters (Dear Boss, Saucy Jack, and From Hell) by heart. He brought great energy to the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Marc- Stand Out Guide- Ripper

Marc was a great tour guide for the Jack the Ripper walking tour! Honestly. They need to make a documentary with home as their guide! He had lots on information and I appreciated his energy and knowledge on the subject. Whatever they pay him they need to double it as he is a true asset to the company!!!

Fun and Informative

This was a fun and informative tour of places related to Jack the Ripper and his victims. The tour guide, Irene, was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about sharing information without diving too deep into the gore associated with it.
