Traveler reviews
Cappadocia is awesome
We went from Istanbul to Cappadocia by tour bus. It was amazing. The sights took my breath away. The entire trip was awesome from the tour guides to the Underground museum. Too beautiful to miss.
Cappadoccia 2 day bus tour
Trip was well worth it, Melissa was our guide and didn’t speak full English but with the help of Google translate we made it work. Sites were beautiful, well worth the money. 4/5 stars because the tour did not have hotel/pick up. We arrived back at our pickup location much later than expected, luckily our flight home was for the next day at 2pm. They do ask for money as soon as you get on the bus for extra expenses such as breakfast, ATV rides and other excursions if you want to participate. I would highly recommend having Google translate handy as they did not speak English when discussing the landscapes and where we were heading. The travel agency was hawkish about leaving a 5 star review before the trip was even over which was a bit annoying…ERIC. Considering the plane tickets were about 4-5X more expensive, the buss tour was definitely worth it. Beware of the onyx jewelry store they stop at! 100% tourist trap and SCAM! They sell fake jewelry and mark up the price’s astronomically. We paid $300 for a Zultanite jewelry set for my wife that we later found on Amazon for $100 the exact same set. You can and should Barter everywhere you go. The pottery exhibition was well worth it, avoid the “hair museum” super creepy in there.
A wonderful experience in Cappadoccia
It was a great experience which I recommend everyone to have at least once in their life. Eric from Guest Relation Department handled our reservation and made our trip a great one!
Worst tour I have ever been on.
If you speak only English do not book this tour! Worst tour I have ever been on. Company was Trend Turlar In summary: -The itinerary does not match the one advertised. Actually, nothing was as advertised -No one communicates with you in English so you never know where you are, where you going or where you need to be for when. -Taskim is not a pick up point as advertised. The options are nowhere near it. -You do not get a hotel pick up / drop off. You get dropped off after midnight when there is no public transport. -On the way back the guide just went home and I as a female traveller was just dropped of in the city after midnight with no idea how to get back to my accommodation because there was no public transport at that time. -The guides would roll their eyes at me and laugh at me when I was asking for help and information using Google translate. -When we were shown around places most of it was in Turkish, but when a guide did translate it to English it was much shorter, or after we had been to the destination before I was told anything. -You get more time at a place that sells sweets/souvenirs than points of interest which is the whole reason you go on the tour. -The guide could only conveniently use Google translate to communicate with me when he wanted more money towards something. But when after that would only message/talk to me in Turkish because he didn't speak English. - I was asked to pay 600 turkish lira on top of what i had paid because I was a solo traveller. -Tour guide woke me up at 1am just to get money from me. It could have waited. -The second day is a waste of time and money. Overall a terrible experience, I was made to feel stupid and there was no effort make me feel part of the tour. I could write more. I would go to Cappadocia on your own or book directly in Turkey so you can check all the details. This tour is falsely advertised on here. I will be asking for a refund.
Cappadocia Trip
It was a great experience to visit Cappadocia . Mr. Abdul Hamid was a very helpful tour guide and guided us through out our trip..They took us for many activities like hot air balloon, horse ride, buggy ride, underground city, Panoramic view, castles, clay & ceramic factory,KEM center etc and gave us enough time to cover all areas. They had also arranged a very good hotel stay at Hotel Tassaray and the driving through out the trip was smooth and the driver dropped us safely near to our hotel stay while returning back from the trip Really we had a wonderful time & enjoyed the trip well.. 🥰🥰🥰
