Fantastic family tour at the National Print Museum

We joined the family tour at the National Print Museum and it was truly fantastic. There are simply no words to describe how outstanding our guide was — fun, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, all while keeping everything perfectly accessible for children. The tour was ideal for younger visitors because it alternated short educational moments with hands‑on activities, including printing a personalised poster with each child’s name. This balance made the experience genuinely enjoyable even for the little ones. The museum itself is small, but full of fascinating details and hidden gems, and it absolutely deserves a visit. Although we didn’t try it ourselves, we noticed a very charming little café on site.

Fantastic visit to delightful museum

I had a wonderful visit to the National Print Museum with my teenage daughter. The guide, Ann, was friendly and full of information. We got to try our hand at printing and using the perforating machine. Addictive. Unfortunately we didn't have time to sample the cafe, but picked up some lovely, unusual presents in the gift shop. A hidden gem in Dublin. Recommend booking the guided tour.

Brilliant guided tour guide

What a fantastic tour. Our guide, Anne, was so informative and enthusiastic and she made the tour for me and a group of friends. We even had s go at some printing while we were there. I'd highly recommend the guided tour

Fascinating tour!

The guided tour was really informative and enjoyable, highly recommend! Our tour guide, Ciarán, was very entertaining and knowledgeable. My favourite part was hearing how many common phrases originated from printing (like ‘mind your p’s and q’s’) and getting to use a printing press myself. Also the cafe was lovely!
