History and Skill
A good insight to the history and craftsmanship of Waterford Crystal. The guide was friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Got to see some rare, fabulous and very expensive crystal works of art.

Waterford’s Shining Beauty
The Waterford Showroom is absolutely breathtaking as it displays pieces from the past and newly created pieces. From the wine glasses and vases to carvings of unbelievable beauty, Christmas pieces, including ornaments and jewellery also…it is amazing! The tour including history of how it began and why has taken over the present ownership AND a full explanation of how special patterns are created and how each piece is made is beyond expectation!
Fascinating experience of glass making at its finest.
Learnt a lot about how the glass is crafted from start to finish. I have been lucky enough to have quite a lot of Waterford crystal and to see the work that goes in to each piece was fascinating. We had a knowledgeable tour guide who was able to answer any questions. I didn’t realise the fruit bowl I had was actually called the Apprentice bowl. It was a piece that apprentices learnt all the different cuts etc on. The visit was approximately 1 hour. We booked via Tripadvisor and got a discount. If you want, you are able to purchase from the gift shop. There is a very nice cafe in the building and spotlessly clean toilets.
