Traveler reviews
Good guide, nothing more
Good and knowledgeable guide, that saved the whole trip. Food was mediocre at best, drink menu poor. The stop was a total waste of time, not open, replicas rather than real historical things or of no interest (unless you're here to buy more of the same refrigerator magnets).
History lesson on the riverboat
On what had to be the hottest day in August, we went on the 2pm ride with our 3 grands under the age of 4! We had a great time and our narrator/historian was excellent! I think his name was Charles and he definitely made it worth it!
Jazz Brunch
Great! Brunch was excellent! Waitress/ bar staff top notch! Super friendly and personable, shared many laughs! Views were excellent and seats plentiful, had a great time! Music was excellent!
If you want to learn...
If you want to learn about the history of New Orleans, this cruise is for you. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
2hr tour
We rode an hour down the river to stop for an hour at a fascinating battle ground. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of New Orleans. The boat slowed going by the sugar mill to show the movement of raw sugar to the mill, as well as the merchant marine ship. The rain was refreshing and beautiful. All in all, a spectacular informative cruise.
