Full description
For this exciting half-day on the water, launch in the motor vessel Blouvin.
Launch time is 7am in summer and 9am in winter from the Hermanus New Harbour.
Within five nautical miles from the Overberg coast, we will have arrived at the reef fishing grounds. Here we typically find hottentot, red stumpnose and silver fish, and if we are lucky, snoek and mackerel too.
The trip lasts four and a bit hours. We arrive back at the harbour around 12pm.
Please note that before a fishing trip, it is essential to obtain a recreational fishing licence.
For R120, Book Fishing Mzanzi can purchase you a recreational fishing permit from DAFF.
What to bring.

All fishing gear supplied: rod, reel, tackle and bait.
Coffee and muffins or rusks offered on arrival.
Water, fruit and basic snacks are supplied.
Clients are encouraged to bring their own drinks and snacks for the trip,
or contact us beforehand with their specific catering requirements for an additional fee.
