HerGalway Walking Tour Review

This tour is unlike your normal history tour as it focuses on the women of Galway and the lives they led and the challenges they faced. It is very refreshing to look at a side of history that rarely gets covered, instead of battles, castles and Kings. I would very much recommend Marteen as a wonderful guide. She is warm and welcoming and is a font of information on these topics. I will definitely be checking out more of her tours.

Incredible tour and wonderful tour guide!

We had an incredible tour on the HerGalway Walking tour! Marteen is so kind and knowledgeable about Irish history, the history of Galway and women's history. We were so impressed with the tour and we saw a side of Galway we hadn't experienced before and learned so much on the tour. I was on the tour with my mom and two aunts and it was really special to have the opportunity to learn about Galway through women's history. Highly recommend any of Marteen's tours if you're in Galway and want to experience a one-of-a-kind tour!
