Herakleidon Museum

1 hour

Full description

The Herakleidon Museum is situated right in the middle of the pedestrian street that connects Acropolis, the Ancient Agora and the Roman Agora. This means it would be a shame not to pay a visit to this fascinating exhibition, housed in two carefully restored neoclassical buildings. EUREKA, Science, Art and Technology of the Ancient Greeks casts the spotlight on some of the Ancient Greeks' amazing accomplishments. Meet Antikythera Mechanism, the first analog computer and one of the greatest achievements of mankind. See how an early robot called The Moving Servant came about, based on the inventions of Hero of Alexandria and Philo of Byzantium, and learn how the Myceneans diverted rivers and drained lakes in ways that even nowadays seem miraculous.

Included / Excluded

  • Admission for both buildings
  • Access to permanent and temporary exhibitions

We had the tour today with Olga E. Review for Olga E – Guide at Sagrada Família We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Olga E for an absolutely unforgettable guided tour inside the Sagrada Família. Our group — Dugi, Nataliia, Chidim, and Jane — was truly impressed by the way Olga brought Gaudí’s world to life. Her storytelling was incredibly detailed, poetic, and perfectly in harmony with the spirit of Gaudí himself. Every symbol, every line, every play of light suddenly made sense through her words. This was not just a tour, but a journey into art, architecture, faith, and imagination. Olga has a rare talent for explaining complex ideas in a clear, elegant, and deeply engaging way. Time flew by, and we were fully immersed from the first minute to the last. Thank you, Olga, for such a beautiful, inspiring, and memorable experience. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to truly feel the Sagrada Família, not just see it.
