Itinerary
Check in for your tour at the bus terminal Sihlquai and board the coach. The journey begins with a round trip along the most important sights of Zurich.
Along lake Zurich you will then travel to Rapperswil and visit the castle with its rose garden and the deer park. You will also have some time at leisure to stroll through the picturesque Old Town.
In Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein you will have more time at leisure. A visit to the Post Office is recommended; the famous stamps from this tiny state are coveted worldwide by philatelists and amateur stamp lovers alike.
After a drive through the Rhine Valley we finally arrive at Maienfeld, the setting for the Heidi stories. In the summer months you visit Heidi's village. A pleasant short walk leads to a collection of typical mountain houses, a village shop, and of course lots of little goats. Entry into the authentic Heidi House is optional.
A beautiful trip back to Zurich along the banks of Lake Walen, guarded over majestically by the Churfirsten mountain range brings to a close this most nostalgic of Swiss tours.
Please note - in wintertime, you'll visit the quaint Swiss village of Werdenberg instead of Heidi's village.
Pass by: Then after crossing the Ricken Pass with its panoramic views of the Alps we reach the lovely Toggenburg region whose pretty hill and valley scenery is perfect chocolate box material!

Recommend to see Liechtenstein
Wished we had longer in Vaduz rather than doing a city bus tour of Zurich. Tour was definitely too rushed. Also wasn’t a fan of the tour guide Walter as I thought he was rude. Didn’t care to do the touring with guide as I just wanted to see the sights.
Great tour in great company
Walter was a great narrative tour guide and Dragon was an excellent driver. Alll the guests were good and attentive to the instructions and contributed to the trip’s success.
Great timing at each stop...
Great timing at each stop and getting to see a lot outside of Zurich. Loved seeing the 6th smallest country.
Highly Recommend
Our tour guide Walter was amazing, his English was perfect, knowledge was spectacular. He was kind and caring. Our bus driver Milan was very courteous and friendly. The places we visited were splendid and breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting Heidiland after watching the cartoon,we enjoyed visiting the smallest country in Europe, Liechtenstein. Overall and amazing experience.
Get Your Guide excellent tours to choose from and Lichtenstein was one
I really wanted to visit Lichtenstein being one of the smallest countries in the world just to say I had been there which I did and the time there was good Instead of catching a train by ourselves there we decided to do a tour I was not a fan of Heidi land to me was a waste of time and I would have rather spent more time elsewhere but for some and families with young children it was probably a highlight
