Itinerary
Begin where Harry started, at the Cupboard Under the Stairs, before watching an enchanting welcome video and heading into The Great Hall – one of the biggest sets at the studios. As you travel through, see an unbelievable selection of actual costumes, props and special effects pieces, all kept in pristine condition. As you explore the studios, see The Burrow, Hagrid’s Hut, the Gryffindor Common Room, Dumbledore’s office and much more. From small details like Dumbledore’s Pensieve to the larger pieces like the fantastic animatronic door to the Chamber of Secrets. Have fun riding a broom through London at the Green Screen exhibit and board the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9¾. See Privet Drive, the Knight Bus, buy a Butterbeer™ on the backlot and get up close to the prosthetics and animatronics in the special effects department – there is so much to see you will be thankful to have an extended time to take it all in. Gringotts Wizarding Bank Enter the all new Gringotts Wizarding Bank on Diagon Alley and discover the magical treasures within. Step into Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault to find the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes, before taking a unique photo surrounded by thousands of pieces of magical treasure…unless the goblins find you first!

When you buy your ticket, they already have the time for you to catch the bus at St. Pancras… there's someone at the stop who will explain it to you, wearing Golden Tours uniform. The time on your ticket is already set… don't worry… they also set the return time to London, and you catch the bus at the same stop where you arrived at Harry Potter… I left from Paris… I took the 9:30 bus, we entered the park at 11:30 am and left for the bus at 3 pm… everything very organized… If you want, they also sell tickets to visit London, and you can get them at the same point next to St. Pancras… there's a ticket seller there… Especially for those who want to do a day trip from Paris to London and return on the same day… you can come without problems.
Golden Tours Harry Potter Review.
Amazing experience with Golden Tours who were professional. We also went in the Harry Potter branded bus ! 🙂
Terrible Transportation Services.
Our tour was booked for 11:30 since we just landed in London very late the evening prior to our tour date and didn’t want to wake up too early. The initial communication sent from the tour company stating we needed to be at the meeting point at 9:15, which meant kind of an early morning after all. When we got there, they told us we didn’t need to be there until 11:00 and the 9:15 time was for the first tour bus out. They did have space on the bus and allowed my family to get on. When we go to the studio, our tickets were for a later time so we sat and waited for several hours before being allowed to enter. Once in though, the HARRY POTTER exhibits were amazing! When we left, the bus that took us back to the train station was hot with no AC. We could hardly breathe and windows could not be opened on the bus. It was a miserable 1+ hour ride back.
Excellent tour
Excellent experience. Loved the studios and self guided tour there. Bus from central London and back was very convenient and on time. I paid for premium seating which was good but the video monitors did not work very well and I would have preferred an option to fold them away so I could look out the window- a very small point though. Really enjoyed the tour and would recommend
Just Go
just go, after you have visited the Harry Potter Studios you have the deepest respect for the craftsmanship behind the filmmaking of the books, not to forget the writers invention of the HP universe.
