There’s an old Vietnamese saying, “Hanoi has thirty-six streets and guilds – Jam Street, Sugar Street, Salt Street…”. Inside a modern and dynamic city, there appears an antique quarter, the Hanoi’s Old Quarter – the represented eternal soul of the city. These days, most Vietnamese and Westerners are familiar with the phrase “Hà Nội Ba mươi sáu phố phường” (translated as “Ha Noi 36 districts” or “Hanoi – 36 Old Streets”), or “Phố cổ Hà Nội” (translated as “Hanoi’s Old Quarter”), the top special historical vestige and sight-seeing of the capital, luring international visitors thanks to their mostly original state.

Food tour and train street.

I was so full by the end of the tour and our guide Sarah (Yen) was so friendly and informative. I learned a lot of information about Vietnamese culture. It’s a must do tour full of yummy food.

Great experience

Ashley was a great guide. She speaks excellent English and shared a lot of interesting information about the food and the history behind it. She also arranged reserved seats on the train, which made the trip very comfortable.

Review on the food tour

Was very informative and tasty, some restaurants have been full so we changed location to find a spots (they don’t valiadate seats before). Recommend preferably in the middle of the week and not rainy days.
