Itinerary
Our first stop is a hidden dry mix chicken Pho place. Located deep inside the alley on the 2nd floor, you'll find a new version of the traditional Pho here, dry Pho mix with special soy sauce and other vegetables. Don't miss out the refreshing Pho rolls here too!
Next, we’ll try one of Vietnam’s most iconic dishes – Bánh Mì. Enjoy a crispy baguette filled with a variety of flavorful ingredients. To end on a sweet note, treat yourself to sticky pandan rice topped with ice cream and mango – a delicious combination that’s sure to take your taste buds to the next level.
Stop at a local restaurant to try an exquisite combination of deep fried stuff such as spring rolls, pillow cake, shrimp cake, or deep fried fermented pork… served with a dish of raw vegetables and fish sauce.
Enjoy a cup of delicious egg coffee or egg cocoa (for those who cannot drink coffee). Dive in the creaminess and the richness of the egg cream made by perfectly whisked yolk, sugar, condense milk.
Excite your palate with delightful bites of sweet and savory donut balls. The sweet version is filled with creamy mung bean paste and coated in a light layer of cane sugar, while the savory one features a flavorful pork and mushroom filling wrapped in a crispy golden shell.
Wrap up your food journey with another classic Vietnamese dessert – Chè. This refreshing treat is especially popular in the summer, featuring a colorful mix of toppings like tapioca pearls, jelly, and creamy coconut milk, creating a sweet and cooling finish to your culinary adventure.

Great food tour
We had a wonderful time and got to try super fresh and delicious local food. We were accompanied by our excellent guide Evelyn who shared her experience and knowledge with us. Highly recommended!
Good local experience
I was with Evelyn and she was very nice and I enjoyed her company and I recommend her. I did the tour and I was the only one. Which gave it a more personalized feeling but if you are looking to meet more people this might not be the place else it’s a great way to meet a local who teaches you about the dishes and the culture. I booked the cyclo option and that I wouldn’t recommend. The cycle was barely moving, walking was faster. we only rode for 15-20 min when the description says 40 min and I didn’t get to really see anything interesting as we barely moved but I guess depends on the driver you get. We also saw the train pass by which I was not expecting so that was a good plus to compensate.
Great time!
We had a great time on our food tour! Our guide, Rose, was sweet and knowledgeable about all the different foods. We left so full and happy! Thank you!
Discovering street food in Hanoi
Rose was an outstanding guide who listened to our interests and took us to a great range of locations to try lots of different dishes. She was very knowledgeable and explained the various foods clearly and in detail. We loved our time with her.
A Culinary Highlight in Hanoi
The food tour with Rose through Hanoi was hands-down one of the absolute highlights of my entire trip through Southeast Asia. She took me to wonderful local spots that I never would have discovered on my own, making for a very diverse and exciting tour. What I loved most was that Rose didn't just show me where to eat; she shared so many interesting stories about the history of each dish we tried. On top of that, she gave me plenty of helpful tips for the rest of my stay in Hanoi. I was truly impressed by her genuine hospitality and warmth. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone—it is a must-do on any trip to Vietnam. Rose is an exceptional guide!
