Traveler reviews
The perfect adventure so long as you have been in a kayak before. A highlight of Krabi.
I absolutely loved this trip. This was the number one thing I wanted to do while in Krabi and it did not disappoint. It lived up to my expectations and I will not forget it. I did this with my son and it was a great experience to do together. I would not recommend it though if you have never been in a kayak before. There were some tricky bits to negotiate which everyone was able to negotiate just fine except for the couple who had no experience. We ended up having to tow them for half of the trip. This did not detract from our adventure, but it could be a frustration for others.
Really good kayaking activity
The nature was impressive, the kayaks were really good and impossible to sink, there were even solo kayaks if you wanted. Really calm sea, almost everything in the shade, really good tour.
Lovely trip!
Great trip, slightly chaotic as there are so many different operators at kayaking centre but this is no reflection of the trip Can get busy in the kayaking area The kayaking is about 1 hour from Ao Nang
Very rushed and bad planning
It was a really beautiful view but way to many people in one group. I think we were 30 It was really rushed and there was no time to enjoy the view. The guide didn’t really interact and everything was in a hurry. Because of bad planning from their side we couldn’t go very deep in the mangrove and had to go the same way back. I would not recommend this. Find another operator to book kayaking.
Fun but chaotic with very large group size
Pick up from the hotel went really smoothly, and the drive there was fine - on arrival it was very chaotic with hundreds of people everywhere. We were handed our water and a dry bag, and after a 20 minute wait were called to get lifejackets and paddles. Allocation to the kayaks was also chaotic but once we were on the water it all went well and was a great experience. The only other issue was the very large group size - we must have been at least 20 double kayaks, so about 40 in the group altogether.
