Great Tour for Non-Art Experts

This tour was entirely worth the additional cost. I am no art expert, so I can tend to feel overwhelmed in a large art museum. Miguel, our tour guide, was funny, clear and did a great job of bringing art appreciation to our group in a way that felt both educational and engaging. I felt so engaged that even I, a non-art aficionado, stayed to continue touring the museum for another two hours after the guided tour ended. My only regret was that I didn’t realize there was an option to book a Royal Palace Tour in the morning that meets back up for the Prado Tour in the afternoon. I wish we would have done this option as it seemed like a very natural segue with the connections between both places; and Miguel would have been a great guide to the Royal Palace! Would recommend this tour to all of my friends coming to Madrid.

A wonderful insight into the treasures of the Prado Madrid

Our visit was exceptional, mainly due to the lively and knowledgeable narration given by our guide Miguel. Miguel spoke fluent English and his knowledge of the exhibits and the enthusiasm he injected into our experience was superb. The tour ended too soon but we will remember the museum and Miguel for a very long time.

Great guided tour!

It was great having a knowledgeable guide and the museum was fantastic. It would be more helpful if he could have used a microphone connected to ear pieces so we could have heard him better. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour that much better.

The Prado with children

We have been to the Prado several times, but this is the first time we went with our children. Ángel made it very enjoyable, for all audiences, fun and attentive. You can tell he is passionate about it and he conveyed that. For us, it was a 10.

Essential for visiting the Prado

Ángel gave a wonderful tour. To me, it makes no sense to visit the Prado without a guide.
