Itinerary
St Andrews, located on the east coast of Scotland, is renowned for its rich history, stunning medieval architecture, and prestigious University of St Andrews, founded in 1413. Famous worldwide as the "Home of Golf," it boasts the Old Course, where the sport's roots run deep. The town offers charming cobbled streets, beautiful beaches, and landmarks such as St Andrews Cathedral and St Andrews Castle. It’s a hub of academic excellence, cultural heritage, and natural beauty.
The Little Chapel, located on the island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, is a charming and unique structure known for its whimsical design. Built in the early 20th century by Brother Déodat, a monk, it is considered one of the smallest chapels in the world. The chapel is decorated with colorful mosaics made from broken china and seashells, giving it a distinctive, fairy-tale appearance. Its intricate, compact design and serene atmosphere make it a popular destination for visitors.
Pleinmont is a scenic headland located on the westernmost point of Guernsey, offering stunning views of the surrounding coastline and the English Channel. Known for its rugged beauty, it is a popular spot for walking, with dramatic cliffs, coastal paths, and diverse wildlife. Pleinmont also holds historical significance, as it is home to various wartime structures, including a former German observation tower and bunkers from World War II. The area’s natural and historical attractions make it a fascinating and peaceful place to visit.
The Guernsey Pearl Café is a delightful dining spot located at the Guernsey Pearl shop, which specializes in locally sourced pearls and jewelry. Situated on the island’s picturesque west coast, the café offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal while taking in stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, from fresh seafood to homemade cakes, alongside a selection of teas and coffees. It’s a great place to relax after browsing the shop or exploring the nearby coastline.

A Fantastic Half-Day Island Tour!
My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed the half-day Guernsey island coach trip! It was the perfect way to see the beautiful sights and learn more about the island's history. The coach was incredibly comfortable, and the tour was well-paced, giving us a fantastic overview of Guernsey without feeling rushed. The driver was knowledgeable and engaging, making the whole experience both fun and informative. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the island!
Canceled our tour.
Very disappointed that they canceled my tour. I did not see the message until I was standing at the meeting spot and trying to figure out how to contact them. They did send a message the day before fore but it did not show up in my email or text or Viator app. It was deep in the app. Ended up taking the 91 bus around the island. (At the suggestion of a dear lady who could see we were at a loss). Saved some money I guess.
An island of interest
The trip started off in some confusion. Asked if we had the correct coach , he checked for our name and said he did not know. This happened to a few other people. Once that was sorted the actual trip was brilliant. With an interesting discourse on parts of the island it filled the day admirably.
4 of us were booked to go...
4 of us were booked to go on a tour of Guernsey, but due to misinformation given by P&0 Arcadia staff we did not get to the mainland in time to pick up the tour. However the tour staff on Guernsey went out of their way to help and provided a taxi to catch up with the tour, so we missed a very little of it - top marks to them and a big thank you from all of us.
Be aware when cruising to Guernsey
The yellow phone boxes described in the instructions are no longer at the terminus so that caused confusion. Because of the choppy sea we had difficulty boarding the tender which led to a delay on arriving onshore. We arrived at the meeting point only to see the bus pulling away so no trip. On calling the 24 hr help line no one picked up. We there fore missed our trip
