Know before you book
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible; participants should be able to navigate uneven terrain.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; minimum age for river tubing is 12.
- Pregnant travelers may join if they are under 24 weeks pregnant by the end of the trip.

- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes suitable for outdoor activities.
- Bring swimwear, a towel, and a change of clothes for water activities.
- Don't forget sunscreen, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle.

- Minimum age for tubing is 8 years - Ability for river tubing dependent on size of child and strength of river that day
- Children ages 4–7 can participate in all activities except tubing. One adult must stay behind with the child during the tubing portion.
- Weight limit 300 lbs

Amazing tour
Absolutely amazing experience! Everything about our Hacienda Guachipelin tour was incredible, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica! Our guide, Kevin Pinas, was fantastic. So helpful, knowledgeable and attentive throughout the entire experience. Our driver, Frank, was also wonderful and made sure everything went smoothly. The entire place is so much fun, with so many different activities and beautiful views. We felt safe at all times. We had an amazing time from beginning to end and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Costa Rica. It was an experience we won’t forget!
Amazing tour!
I highly recommend this tour! We got to do horseback riding, river tubing, zip lining which included a rock climb and swing, had a lovely lunch and finished the day relaxing in the hot springs with the mud bath. The whole day was exciting and it was everything I hoped it would be. Everything went smoothly and Alberto was the best tour guide! He was so friendly and added so much fun to the experience. He even ran up and down the hill to get my other shoes from the van when I had to switch them for horseback riding. I was nervous about going solo but my tour group was lovely and we all became friends right off the bat. I would totally do this again and recommend it to anyone.

It was fun and very organized. I learned a lot about Costa Rica and would love to return to explore more.

First of all—wow! This tour is an incredible value for the money. It was very well thought out, and every part of the experience was extremely memorable. The river tubing was definitely a highlight! It’s very approachable while still being absolutely beautiful and fun. The ziplining and hot springs were gorgeous, and the horseback riding was just as enjoyable! Highly recommend this tour—it was such a great day!
