2025 solo trip!

Our guide Roger was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, made sure we knew where to go/guide us, and then let us explore in our own time. He was welcoming and put us at ease. The trip outside of Geneva was longer then I expected, I think it may be ideal for the trip duration to be put on to the activity itinerary. The chocolate factory and cheese factory were great. Although the cheese factory was very short, and I think I expected a little more from that. The village of Gruyeres was beautiful, we got there at a good time as it wasn’t overly busy. However, with the price of the ticket and the itinerary I thought the museums would be free of charge/covered- however they weren’t. They were optional to go into, but I think when you travel that length you would like to understand more of the culture and touring. They were around 10-13 CHF each. The village had alot of options for food, and lovely buildings. In honesty, the trip was good, but I think the itinerary needs to be updated and made clear of the travel duration from the bus station to each stop and I think that it’s made clear the muesums are not included in the cost of the trip to save confusion. I am pleased I went and really pleased our guide was Roger, but I don’t know if the trip is worth the amount charged.
