Traveler reviews
Fantastic overview - bus tour, walking tours & boat ride
Very easy to hop on and off the bus- we we covered almost the entire city between 2 different routes. We chose the hop on/off with 2 walking tours and optional cruise. We did both included walking tours (near Buckingham Palace and Jack the Ripper); our guide Robin was fantastic. Great storyteller and took us to the best spots for photos near the palace. Got lots of info on the boat trip from Tower Hill back to Westminster from the City Cruise folks (included). Fantastic all day overview of the major sights to see in London!!
For a quick view
If you are on a quick visit, it is worth it. If not then a taxi driver can drive you around and tell you more since the bus charges per person
Live Guide Emma - Blue line is a must!
I strongly recommend knowing and asking multiple people where and when certain lines start in the morning at the stop closest to you. We planned to take the red line. Long story short we took the blue line in hopes to connect where it overlaps with the red line. The morning tour was a solid ok, as the tour guide was an audio guide that usually did not match to what you are passing. However, (play exciting music) in the afternoon the blue line had a live guide named, Emma, she was a true delight!!! Emma gave us unique insights and I truly found myself wishing we lived closer to one another. We do not remember the name of our driver but he was great too, very friendly and helpful. We never did make it on the red line, but the blue line is a pretty amazing route.
London walk around Buckingham Palace and into Saint James
Robin was an excellent guide and made the walk. Very interesting. Excellent.
Hop on hop off
Great way to see a lot in one day
