- Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
- Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.
- The total combined passenger weight (including pilot) cannot exceed 1170lbs (530kg)
- There is a maximum capacity of seven (7) people per helicopter, plus your pilot.
- Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
- Due to uneven terrain at the Grand Canyon, wheelchairs are not able to be accommodated.
- Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

I enjoyed the flight. The pilot was very knowledgeable. If I had one complaint, it would be the music or I should say lack of it was very informative. Once again you can get something better up-to-date.

The experience was amazing. Our pilot was a super cool dude who had great humor along with providing a-lot of historical information during the flight.
Amazing Trip over the Grand Canyon.
Last summer, I visited the Grand Canyon with my family. First, we stopped at every viewpoint because the views were beautiful and impressive. The next day, we went on a helicopter flight. It was my first time in a helicopter, so I was very excited. It was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, there were forest fires, so we couldn't see everything. Because of that, we got a partial refund. However, I still really enjoyed the flight. The pilot was very friendly, funny, and professional, which made the experience even better. Besides that, we didn't have to wait in a queue because we had a specific time to arrive. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to pay extra for the pictures.Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it.
Once in a lifetime experience!
We had a few days in Las Vegas and chose this option for seeing the Grand Canyon rather than spending hours driving there and back. Totally worth it! Our pilot Jack was amazing and getting to fly over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead etc with him explaining the history, made the experience even better. The stop off at the canyon, with champagne on offer, gave you the chance to just stand and admire the sheer majesty of the strata formations. There were six of us on the tour; two couples and 2 German guys over for an Expo and everyone had the opportunity to sit up front for part of the flight. The choice of music made us smile; very 70's, very Apocalypse Now! To be honest this wasn't cheap, but well worth doing and totally recommended if you only plan to do this once, like we did.
Amazing experience
Absolutely incredible! We checked in as requested 45 mins before our timed slot. Check in was quick and easy. Had our weight checked and was then provided with our boarding cards. Sat in a comfortable waiting area. A few minutes before our slot a line of pilots appear and shot out the number on the card. We were in a group of six altogether for our flight. We had a short safety briefing from the pilot. We had a group of French tourists so he explained it would be a pre recorded tour through the headset to allow the language to be interpreted for them. Now it poured down with rain on take off but it was pretty smooth. The whole flight was incredible. The pilot spitting out any interesting facts on the way. We flew over, lake mead, Hoover dam and landed in the canyon. Wow!! The photos and summary do not do it justice. If your thinking about it just book it.
