Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour from Las Vegas

We booked the helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon with a landing. Through the concierge at the Venetian hotel. Since we booked the first flight in the morning, it was 100 dollars cheaper per person. Still expensive, but we wanted to fulfill this dream and did not regret it. I had thought that we would be picked up at the hotel, but the concierge told us that the company no longer does that and we had to take a taxi to the Maverick airport. Everything went relatively quickly there. We had to be there 45 minutes before departure, but that was completely unnecessary because we waited another 30 minutes after checking in. The helicopter was completely full and I would have loved to sit in the front, but the pilot assigned us the seats and we sat in the back. The view was great and during the flight the pilot always told us where we were and kept us informed. The landing site was breathtaking. We had 30 minutes to take photos and drink a "cup" of champagne, and the time went by much too fast. It was beautiful, such silence and pure nature. On the return flight the seats were swapped, but we sat in the back again. But we had to refuel on the way and afterwards we were allowed to sit in the front and that was even better. You could see everything and it was beautiful. I had problems with the headphones, the music was very quiet and I could only hear the pilot very faintly. I found that a pity. I also thought we would do some kind of nosedive, that's how I had been told about this experience. But unfortunately that didn't happen. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I am so glad that we were able to experience it. At the end we also flew over the Strip, which was also very interesting. I think that it is a different experience in the evening, but also great during the day.

We had a super time with Maverick. Helicopters felt new and the pilots did a great job of looking after us. On our original booking we had to turn back because of a lightning storm. They rescheduled us for the following morning with no issues and we made it to the Canyon for an amazing experience! Highly recommended.

Great trip! Beautiful views! Only drawback is if you go in summer, it is extremely hot!!

We had an absolutely superb experience with Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas. From start to finish, the safety standards were impeccable, which made us feel completely at ease. The views over the Grand Canyon were simply breathtaking, and the highlight was landing in the canyon itself for a champagne toast. They also provided pretzels as snacks and cold bottled water, which was a nice touch. A special thank you to our pilot, Wayne, who was fantastic throughout the tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and even allowed us to switch seats during the tour so everyone could enjoy different perspectives of the incredible scenery. His professionalism and skill made the experience even more memorable. This was a truly unforgettable tour, and I would highly recommend Maverick Helicopters to anyone visiting Las Vegas. An outstanding experience with an exceptional pilot!

Very cool experience. Our pilot was great and it was smooth. Great way to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Damn when you don't have time to waste. AC in the helicopter could be better. Lunch is not served, not that we were hungry, but really just snacks. Cold wash rags were great. Pricey but memrable.
