Paddle our 7 mile whitewater rafting stretch through class III rapids, navigating medium sized waves with a few larger drops and passing by historic Idaho Springs, including the Argo Mill and Tunnel. On our Via Ferrata course, you will use a combination of ladders, rungs, rails, cables, and bridges to to move across and up a cliff face, experiencing the thrill of climbing high above Idaho Springs and the Chicago Creek. Via Ferrata, which means “iron way” in Italian, is a method of mountaineering & rock climbing that’s been used in Europe for centuries. Our course also includes several ziplines and a controlled freefall. Our guides were Lexie and Tommy and they made our trip so much fun! If you are allowed to request guides, request them if you are looking for music (oldies), singing and dancing while you wait your turn, light-heartedness, history about the area, strong sense of safety, and complete joy. There were 6 ziplines, each with their own unique adventure through the Rocky Mountains. Highly recommend.
