Great day in the metropolis of millions Cairo
A wonderful day in Cairo the driver Abdo Ragab and the guide were very helpful, the car was always in the right place at the right time and took us quickly and safely through this metropolis of millions. A wonderful day, with pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Papyros Manufactory, food.... Unforgettable experiences
Day trip cairo cancelled at the last minute
We had booked a week Hurghada because this was a wish of my wife. In addition, a very big wish of our family with 4 children was to take a day trip to cairo and see the pyramids and museums. Without this day trip we would never have booked a 6000 euro holiday this week. Sometimes you have to spend money to fulfill your desires. 36 hours before we were going to leave for cairo I received a message that the trip does not go doke, without any explanation or explanation. Contact with nice tours was also no longer possible. There was no response to the app and not reachable by phone. For us there is little chance that we can spend that much money again to see all the beautiful things in Cairo. I hate that you book something months in advance, look forward to it so much and then someone tells you it's off and then asks you to cancel yourself. Of course, cancelling them themselves because they are not liable themselves, insofar as a company from Luxor can be liable... Nice tours thank you for all this misery. Getyourguide, thank you for working with professional companies like this.
Cairo tour with Giza and pyramids
Excellent tour with our knowledgeable guide Mohammed K. Spent a good amount of time at the pyramids and sphinx with good historical knowledge and he was also very happy to take photos. Then he took us to shopping areas to learn about oils, papyrus and spices. Lunch was very good, traditional kofta, they were also able to cater to vegetarians in our group. Then a good museum tour that included all the highlights. Overall very happy!
A trip to the Pyramids is not to be missed.
After doing a 16 hour round trip to The Valley of the Kings two days prior I knew this 20 hour round trip to the Pyramids was going to be gruelling. We left at 1.30am in a car for a long journey and arrived at 9am at the Pyramids. We climbed up inside the main pyramid which was very cramped, warm and smelly to reach a room 47 metres up and was disappointed as it was a small room with nothing other than a stone table. Our guide Mustafa was good but everything was rushed. We kept asking to get coffee and drinks but were rushed to the next thing. Eventually stopping for lunch where I made him wait until I was ready to leave. Then rushed through the Cairo Museum only seeing the most important things. There should be more time allocated for this place as it holds 56,000 artifacts, (in fairness I could have spent 3 days looking around it and my advice would be to spend at least one overnight there). Then rushed to an oil factory for them to sell you perfumes and oils which we could have done without. Then to a boat trip on the Nile and then back to the hotel. The guide Mustafa was very good but if you are going to wear trainers, put them on properly as it didn't look good. The driver Abraham was fantastic and very attentive. Looking after us in every way. A word of advice to the company, as an ex lorry driver. People's lives are in the driver's hands and they need more rest between trips. It's drive for 14 hours all round between 1.30an and dropping us off at 8.39pm and had to start again at 3am again on his next trip. Overall a trip not to be missed.
