Best tour guide Maria!
Our tour guide Maria was OUTSTANDING! From the moment we met her at the welcome center to crossing the street to the orphanage the stories started. I was on the tour with my 12 yr old granddaughter who initially was a little apprehensive and Maria had her go first into some of the rooms and pointed out that this was an orphanage and she’s a kid so watch out for maybe some activity. I would highly recommend this tour. We had a great group of people on the tour how many you ask 13.
Haunted Orphanage at Gettysburg
Thanks to Chrissy, our tour guide, who was absolutely wonderful. We were certainly creeped out by the end of the evening. There is something about this place that gives you "that" feeling. Very creepy.

Disappointing, Learned Nothing of the Orphange
We were excited to go on this tour and get Mike as a tour guide since we went on this tour with him a few years ago and remembered him being very good. Our tour last night was super disappointing as Mike barely said anything about ghosts and the orphanage. We stayed in the first room for almost an hour where he only talked about old life in Gettysburg, about courting and marriage. For almost an hour, it was a history lesson and nothing about ghosts or the orphanage. In the second room, all Mike did was talk about himself, how we can tip him, and about the other tour guides at the company. The basement was very rushed and finally, only a little was said about the orphange. The tour went a half hour over, which would have been fine, if we were actually learning about the orphange and what we paid for. Mike only rambled about random topics and jokes, and we left knowing hardly anything about the orphange, and nothing about any activity in the house. Very disappointed and will not be back.
