Traveler reviews
Both our trip last year...
Both our trip last year to Annrcy and this time old town Geneva and tour of the lake were ver pleasant and iinstructive, both times our guide was Gabtiel who shared with us his knowledge and was very helpful and agreeable.
Geneva
Tour of city of Geneva. Good overview. One critique -On the bus, the tour guide mentioned that the Catholic Church is not a member of the ecumenical group of Geneva without any further explanation. iThat statement left me wondering why and my friend with some disdain for the Catholic Church. As I did a deeper dive, I learned the reason it is not an official member and of the contributions and history the Catholic Church has with this ecumenical group. I think it was unfair and disrespectful to the Catholic Church to make this general statement. No context was given. It would be easy to make a negative assumption based on that fact without further explanation and I find that unfair and misleading.
Worth your time
I highly recommend the highlights of Geneva tour. You will see the international district, the waterfront commercial area and old town. Great coordination of the driver getting around the traffic restrictions.
City Tour
Covered all the best bits of Geneva, on bus, train and by boat. Was a large group and stops were very brief, prefer a walking tour.
100% recommended
This is a very interesting and pleasant tour giving you different experiences. A lot of interesting information about the city. Best way to start the visit of Geneva. Gabriel, the guide, is very professional and also a very nice person, who does his best for the visitors. Before boarding to the bus you will need to check in in the office, look for Swiss Tour to the left of the bus station (if you stay to facing the entrance).
