10 year anniversary
I opted for shuttle pick up and it went well. We made it to the boat around 620 to 630. We left the dock at 7 and dinner began at 715. We ate and went outside when we reached the downtown area. It was beautiful and we took lots of photos. The food was decent. We had brisket, chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, brocollini, Mac n cheese, rolls, cheesecake, coffee, and water. Everything was buffet style beside the drinks and dessert. The entertainers hit the stage following dinner and put on a performance for about an hour or so. We made it back to the dock around 945. We were seated with awesome couples and overall it was a nice experience. It's not super glamorous but definitely something different to do with friends or family.
Take the llunch tour
We booked the sunset cruise, however it was dark at the time of the dinner cruise, so we did not see any scenery. The meal was good, however the waiters hounded the people for a tip to the point where it was uncomfortable. We gave a tip however the waiters continued to linger and advise us how they would appreciate a tip and didn't leave until everyone at the table gave them one. If we were to take the cruise, I would recommend the lunch tour. The music show was great and a lot of fun.
Great dinner cruise on Cumberland River
Fabulous experience! We've done it twice over the last 3 years.. Entertainment was really good. Meal was good, as well. A Nashville must.
Grest time on the general jackson
We where picked up at our hotel by gray line, arrived in plenty of time to board the General Jackson. The show was fantastic. Gray line was right where he left us off to pick us up for return. Driver was very pleasant and welcoming.
Nice Way to Spend The Lunch Hour.
Music was good. Food was decent. Scenery was a muddy river and river banks. This isn’t a cruise you take for the amazing scenery.
